I call this the hidden and forgotten bushing. Why? Because you can not see it to inspect it, it hardly ever gets changed. When these bushings wear out you will feel "weird" movement in your rear end, especially going over rough ground. If they are real bad, when you accelerate the rear end will try to "steer" the car off track. This is especially true on the ABC cars due to the heavy weight of the rear hydraulic struts. It is a time-consuming job to get to these bushings, but with this tool you will at least be able to quickly remove the old bushings and insert the new ones with the control arm still on the car. Instructions: You will receive two on-demand instructional videos free of charge. In the long video, Kent will use an SL500 to show you how to drop the control arm to gain access to the bushing. He will show the correct way to reinstall the control arm and load the suspension to tighten and the bolts properly ( please note not every step shown in this SL video will pertain to every chassis). In the other video he will show you how to use the tool to remove the old bushing and install the new one.

Anytime you need to replace your rear shocks/struts, you must drop the rear control arm. If you are doing other rear suspension work, you may need to drop it as well. Kent came up with this tool kit when he was converting his SL500 to conventional coil-over shock absorbers.
