This plate is often corroded and pitted. The locking tabs are usually rusted away. And the original alloy nuts are often rounded off.  This is not perfect but way better than most.

This price is for TWO nuts as shown. If you find you can not accurately adjust one of your older diesel engine valve clearances it usually means the threads on the lower adjusting nut are stripped. New ones are getting harder to find so we are offering good used as an alternative.

Please, what you see is exactly what will receive. These are mostly from OM616 and OM617 diesel engines and related transmissions and may NOT all be from the same vintage or chassis model. Study the picture carefully. Only one exactly like this.

If you own one of the early Mercedes overhead camshaft engines from the mid-1950's up to the mid-1970s that have mechanical (non-self-adjusting) lifters this is a MUST HAVE tool! It does NOT work on the M110 twin cam engine.

This is the hose on the left side of your engine that seems to always rot and leak power steering fluid. If you look closely at it you will most likely see small cracks in the hose. This is the larger size hose used on those early models with power steering from the early 1960's through 1976.

These might be needed when replacing the engine head or aluminum water pump housing. This includes the water pump bypass tube and the two small banjo bolts for the tube along with aluminum sealing rings.

Good used working EGR valve. HARD TO FIND. The valve opens and closes properly and holds a strong vacuum. Hard to find. Failure of this unit can cause excess smoke, poor idle, and/or rough shifting. Check to see if yours holds vacuum. Easy to replace.

For a number of maintenance operations, you need to be able to turn the engine over by hand. This includes valve adjustment, timing chain replacement, injection pump timing on diesel engines, checking and setting internal engine timing, draining the torque converter, and others.

These will fit all 1976 to 1991 4.5, 3.8, 5.0 and 5.6-liter V8 engines with Bosch C.I.S fuel injection.  PLEASE NOTE: These spark plugs have an aluminum end cap that does screw off. You will receive the plugs with the end cap installed.

2 large style clamps to be used on upper and lower radiator hoses. Use these to replace your thermostat or water pump without having to drain all your coolant out of the radiator. Works on medium size coolant hoses also. 

Connect this small filter with attached hoses to the back of the injection pump and to the brown plastic vacuum line going to your ignition switch under the dash. The filter will do two things. 1. Help to trap oil coming out of a leaking shutoff valve before it gets to your ignition switch. 2.
