How to Install New Fuel Injectors in a 1970 to 1973 3.5 or 4.5 V8 Engine - On Demand Video

You might be surprised by the difference these will make in your old D-Jetronic fuel-injected engine. Most are over 50 years old!

In this 23-minute step-by-step "how-to" video, Kent will show you how to install a new set of fuel injectors in your early D-Jetronic engine. This video is included free with the purchase of our early 3.5 and 4.5 fuel injector sets.

The subjects included are:

Late 4.5 D-Jetronic Fuel Injector Special Seal Set

Used on some 1973 and all 1974 and 1975 V8 fuel-injected engines. You must confirm before ordering by removing one of your injectors.

If you plan to replace, test, or service your electronic fuel injectors you first must determine which bottom seals you will need. If you have a 1970 or 1973 model, you most likely have the single-bottom seal (unless your engine has been changed).

$232.00

Late 1974 and 1975 450SL, 450SE and 450SEL New Fuel Injectors Less Bottom Seals

This kit DOES NOT include the lower green and black seals. It also does not include the nylon sleeves, which is no longer available NLA.

DO NOT ORDER UNTIL YOU REMOVE ONE INJECTOR IN YOUR ENGINE AND INSPECT THE HOLE. Sometime in 1974, Mercedes changed the way these injectors were sealed into the head to prevent air leaks. A "YELLOWISH" nylon sleeve was added along with two seals on the lower end of the fuel injector.

$24.00

1970 to 1975 D-Jetronic Fuel Injector New Wiring Plugs x 8

If you are installing our NEW injectors, these wires are a good option if your old wire plugs are rotten and breaking up. These will need to be wired into your existing harness.

These plugs will NOT work on your original injectors. They will ONLY work on our new replacements (see below). These plugs are a good alternative to the damaged originals on your D-Jetronic fuel-injected engine only if you are installing our new injectors.

$24.00

1970 to 1975 D-Jetronic V8 EFI Fuel Injector Tip and Housing Seals

To prevent intake air leaks, replace your aging tip seals and large body seals. You should always replace with new anytime you remove the injectors.

These are the critical seals that go on the D-jetronic fuel injectors. If they leak air, your engine with idle high, start poorly and run lean, which can damage the pistons. We recommend you replace these whenever you remove and replace the injectors.

$252.00

1970 to 1973 3.5 350 D-Jetronic New Replacement Fuel Injector Set with Extras

There is only one set available. The injectors come with bonus new seals and upper clamps. Kent's on-demand video on D-jet fuel injector replacement is included free of charge.

WARNING: MAKE CERTAIN your current injectors are yellow at the top. A restocking fee will apply if you place an order in error. For the 3.5 engine ONLY. See related products below if you have a 4.5.
