The sway bar end links are not available from the vehicle manufacturer. This repair kit includes new bushings, washers, a bolt, and a special stainless steel repair piece for Mercedes 123 and 126 chassis cars. Instructions are as follows: (1) Loosen the upper control arm mount on the sway bar. (2) Remove the bolt, washer and rubber mount from sway bar end. (3) Cut the sway bar end off to approximately 1/2" back from the thin section. (4) Clean end and weld the Sway Bar Saver in place. (5) Install upper control arm outer bushings and tighten.
Saves approximately 20 hours labor time versus replacing the entire sway bar.
