New Meyle heavy duty subframe mounts will eliminate rear-end wiggle and sway typical on these older chassis. No specific instructions are included but we do offer these tips for successful installation. A small tube of silicone grease and brush applicator are included at no extra charge.

I have been discovering this is one of those maintenance areas that suffers from severe neglect. Failure of the rubber support or center drive shaft bearing can cause all types of improperly diagnosed vibration problems - some commonly change with vehicle speed.

I decided to make this tester due to the number of reports of people wasting money and time trying to find the leak in their airmatic suspension. in some cases shops would just throw parts at it and the customer had to take it in two or three times before getting it permanently fixed.

It would be near impossible to find a better one. There is not even any crazing in the plastic and the fact that the top of the wheel is not cracked shows the car had been garaged. Kent has had this in storage for over 20 years. It came of a low mileage W111 couple.

If you have a VERY slow leak in your Airmatic Mercedes, it can be very frustrating trying to find it. It could be in the valve block, one of the lines, or the Airmatic strut itself. If you can not hear it, small leaks in the strut can be the hardest to find.

The wiring plug covers must be removed with a special tool in order to install these boots. The old covers will break when you try to remove them. We recommend you buy new wiring covers when replacing either my aftermarket custom-made silicone boots or the original rubber boots.
You can use these to remove the wires and just replace the plug cover on your D-Jet V8 engine. Most of the originals are brittle or broken due to heat. As an alternative you can use butt connectors and wire them into your existing harness.

For the OM616 and OM617 engines in the W116 and W126 300Sd and the W123 4 and 5 cylinder diesels. When you remove your oil filter housing be sure to check this part. Replace it if it is broken or not seating properly. Watch the video for a full explanation.
These parts will fit the front air dam on all 123 from 1977 to 1985 and all 126 from 1981 to 1985. You will receive a good left ( DRIVER SIDE ) hold-down clip, a good replacement spring, and a center hold-down clip as shown. This is the LAST of these parts we have.
